About The Re-Design
Problem
Paying for Bart parking is inconvenient, the kiosk only accepts cash, and not everyone carry's around cash anymore. This can forfeit someone from paying their parking, resulting in a ticket or lost money for Bart. The current way to add value to a clipper card can cause an inconvenient obstacle if a rider is running late, causing them to possibly miss the train.
Solution
Creating an all in one platform that can help riders access information and be able to easily pay parking or for their Bart pass on the go, which gives peace of mind alleviating some stress from a rush.
Helping riders easily figure out train times for any station, pay for parking after they are on the train, and add value to your ticket without going to the kiosk.
Product Goals
Parking payment anywhere
To give the Bart rider freedom of paying for their parking on the go if they do not have cash or are in a rush. The current payment machine is an obstacle to use
Add value anywhere
Ability to add value on a rider’s ticket easily without visiting a kiosk, making it helpful for riders in a rush or riders interested in convenience.
Accessible Info
Giving riders important information that is presented well and easy to find. This makes a much more comfortable riding experience because the rider is never unsure about the train service.

Behaviors
- Rushes from station to work, or from home to station when late

- Mainly carry's credit and debit cards, doesn’t have cash often
Needs / Goals
Ability to pay for parking without using cash, a well functioning and dynamic timetable, able to update ticket or clipper without visiting a kiosk

- - Adding value to ticket walking from lot to train so the rider doesn’t have to stop at the kiosk
- - Paying for parking while walking to the train, so you can save time and not have to stop at the kiosk
- - Paying for parking when a rider isn't carrying cash
- - Finding train times and info before you get to the station

Features
Add Ticket Value
I want to add some value to my bart ticket or clipper pass. Can add value by the add value button adding $1 every tap
Parking Payment
I want to pay for parking without being held up at the kiosk. Easily pay for parking by typing in the spot number and tapping the pay button.
This will instantly pay for the parking unless a payment method has not been added, which can be done right below the pay button, and will lead the rider to a page to fill out a payment method.
